Machine Overview

The 2000S Rotary Friction Welding machine boasts over 5,000,000 of Wk² and is capable of delivering unparalleled accuracy even when operating at exceptionally high loading conditions. This machine has been developed specifically for bonding high integrity powder metallurgy derived components for advanced aerospace and astro-space engine applications. The increased energy required for welding these new materials is delivered by inertia masses with diameters of up to 4.8 meters.

MTI is Nadcap-accredited, ISO 9001 certified, AS9100 Registered, ITAR compliant,  and has been a trusted partner to aerospace companies for decades.

Additonally, MTI can design and build custom tooling for this machine to ensure your unique part fits perfectly.
