Chinese Drillpipe Industry Training Seminars - Shanghai, China
The First Class attendees for the MTI China Drillpipe Training Seminar - April 22, 2008 Manufacturing Technology, Inc., a world class leader in friction welding technology, is conducting its first DrillPipe Industry training seminars in Shanghai, China, April 22 through April 25, 2008. The training sessions are being held at the AMT Shanghai Technology and Service Center in Pudong New District, Shanghai, China with attendees from 17 different drillpipe companies. The expected 60-plus attendees will be greeted by MTI's senior staff of President Robert C. Adams, Vice-President Daniel C. Adams, with instruction and support provided by Application Engineer Dietmar E. Spindler, International Development Engineer Fred (Guoyao) Wang, Service Technicians Brian Roberts and Michael Powell, and by AMT China employees Simon Sun, Service Manager and Jack Zhao, Service Engineer who will also provide interpretation services. MTI consultant and cultural liaison, Mr. Fu, will also be a part of the program. Seminar attendees will be introduced to MTI, its capabilities and its technical offerings to the Chinese drillpipe market. Individual sessions will cover various drillpipe equipment design, application, installation and maintenance, as well as specific areas of machine control, hydraulic, and electrical functionality. The Chinese Drillpipe Industry Training Seminars will be the springboard from which MTI plans to launch a wider instructional initiative across its global market customers, reaffirming existing customers of MTI's on-going support and drive for continuous improvement and inviting new customers to join the MTI family of satisfied friction welder owners.
