MTI Receives NADCAP Accreditation!

Manufacturing Technology, Inc. is pleased to announce that it is now Nadcap certified!

Nadcap, the National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program, is the leading worldwide cooperative program of major companies designed to manage a cost-effective consensus approach to special processes and products and provide continuous improvement within the aerospace and automotive industries.

The registration firm Performance Review Institute (PRI), the only auditing company approved by the aerospace industry to offer official certification audits, accredited MTI Nadcap certification.

PRI's audit in March of 2010 resulted in approval for MTI's Certification under the Commodity Welding, with a Scope of Rotational Friction/Inertia Welding.

Auditor's comments highlighted during the two-day review revealed MTI was already a solid supporter of Nadcap's vision. Their comments were;

• Areas of Good Performance - Contract Welding work instructions are very well documented and contain detailed process control information.
• Effective Customer Satisfaction - MTI uses a variety of methods to determine customer perception (surveys and complaints) all being effective.
• CARs/PARs were reviewed and appeared to be effectively implemented.

MTI has long been on a path of continuous quality and service improvement, already having obtained both ISO 9001:2008 and AS9100 certifications. Now having the coveted Nadcap certification further strengthens our resolve and commitment in providing world-class services and products to our customers.
